Warm and friendly, this is a cozy dwelling. Many people refer to it as a hobbit house or call it boat-like because the small space is very efficiently utilized. Comfortably furnished with everything provided for easy housekeeping, including bedding, dishes, cutlery and utensils.
The one-person stand-up kitchen has a stainless steel sink, dishwasher, electric range, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and a refrigerator. The log living room, with a view of the pond, is cheered by a brick fireplace with an Avalon wood fireplace insert. The cabin is heated with propane, the fuel of choice in Vermont. For dining, there is a locally made free-form pine slab table.

Two sleeping areas: master bedroom with queen-size bed and its own bath with shower; two double-size bunks in the area leading from the living room to the master bedroom.
The cabin faces the pond. The freshly cleaned out 3/4 acre pond offers refreshing swimming and skating in the winter.
Good for a couple or a family with two young children.
$900/week or $175/night with a three night minimum during the warmer months plus tax and security deposit. $95 cleaning fee.
