The house sits on a quiet dead-end dirt road.
Downstairs, there is one bedroom with a queen bed and a split bath. There is a toilet and a sink in one room and a tub with a shower and sink in another room. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one with two double beds and the other with one double bed. There is also a bath with a shower upstairs.
The rustic living room has a brick fireplace with an 35,000 BTU Empire propane insert and hand-hewn beams and looks out on the pond and flower gardens. There is also a modern kitchen, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Amenities include a dishwasher, microwave, DVD Player, cable TV, Wireless high speed Internet and a Weber charcoal grill. The house is heated with propane, the fuel of choice in Vermont.
Pond is three quarters of an acre in size, has a gravel base and is eight feet deep in the middle. Grassy shore provides easy access. There is a row boat you can use. A screened gazebo sits on the far shore. In winter great for skating.
Tennis, horseback riding, golf, and ski lifts are short drive away. Theater & concerts: 30 minute drive. Stratton Resort is 1.5 miles away. Pets & children are welcome.
Spring-Summer-Fall: $1200/week or $250 night with a four night minimum plus tax and refundable $250 Security Deposit. $85 cleaning fee.
Winter: $10,750 for the ski season plus utilities and security deposit.
This house is available for the 2017-2018 Ski Season.
