On 3 acres of wooded land, 300 yards back from the road, abutting the woods and trails of generous neighbors, who also manage the property.

Cabin has a main floor and spiral staircase leading to the lower walkout basement level. Main floor includes a cozy great room with a pine vaulted ceiling and a well-equipped U-shaped kitchen, dining table and living space with futon/double bed. A small bedroom with antiques and full bath. On lower level is a large sleeping/playing area with a double platform bed and a triple/trundle bunkbed. Ample open space for child's play or yoga/exercise, a bath with shower. Large windows and outside access at this level.

For outside living, there is an entry porch, grill, play yard and picnic area with firepit and firewood. Walking/hiking and snowshoeing start right outside your door.

Land phone, cellphone reception, WIFI, flatscreen TV with DVD player. You'll stay plenty warm with new Rinnai propane heaters on each floor.

Ideal location. Minutes to Lake Willoughby and other ponds for kayaking and fishing, hiking/biking/x-country ski trails, Burke/Jay Peak (and it's amazing waterpark!), country golf, and did we mention the gorgeous views coming and going?!?

This is a four-season vacation rental.

The fee is $800 a week plus 9% VT tax, with a minimum stay of 3 days in summer.

We charge $125 a night if rented less than a week. Great for a weekend or midweek retreat.
