Large log cabin available, with screened porch overlooking Crystal Lake State Park. A 3-mile, pristine Vermont Lake, with a well-maintained sandy beach, picnic tables, playground and grills. Free admittance to park for guests only.
This larger cottage has two bedrooms (queen, double) with a stand-up loft with three beds (twins/double). Well-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator, etc. Full bath with shower. Cabin has grill, picnic tables, DVD and television for movies/games. A dock is provided in the state park; canoe and two-person kayak for your use. Bikes available.
Facilities of state park include biking, showers, playground, snack bar, boat rentals. Short walk to Village of Barton for churches, restaurants, retro-cafe, drugstore, grocery, historic walk, hiking, bar, waterfall, church dinners, antique stores.
Private access to state park means no crossing of streets for safe biking and playground, great for children. Plenty of grassy lawn at cabins for games after swimming. Bring your own linens. Half-hour drive to Jay Peak, year-round resort, with amazing water park. Peaceful surroundings, great for families. Come and hear the call of the loon!
Rates: $700 per week for cabin. This rate is for four people. $100/week for each additional person. ($25 daily rate for each additional person). Two night minimum required. Supplement may be required for heat in cold weather.
May, June, July, August and September. Daily rates: $100 per day in high season.
Plus Vermont rooms tax - 9%.
Arrangements available for providing sheets and towels for those flying in - $30 per week.
