EARLY BOOKING SPECIAL: Reserve your week before May 1st and save $100-- spend a week on the lake for $800. After May 1st, the weekly rate goes up to $900 per week.
The cottage is situated on the eastern shore of Great Hosmer lake in Craftsbury, Vermont. The cottage sits directly on the water with three steps into the lake.
The lake is spring fed, creating those beloved "warm spots" and "cold spots" for swimmers and making the water crystal clear. The lake is sparsely populated. There are a few other private camps and the small beach area for the popular Craftsbury Outdoor Center.
Inside the cottage there is a full kitchen complete with appliances and essential dishes and cutlery. There is a living room and small dining area with large windows overlooking the water. The private bedroom has a double bed and two large dressers, and the living room couch folds down for additional sleeping space. There is a full bath and a screened-in porch.
This pristine setting lends itself to loons, who frequent the lake, as well as other wildlife. It's a place unlike any other.
The cottage is available from early June through mid-September for $900 per week. The maximum occupancy is four people.
