The cottage is located on the east shore of Lake Dunmore, south of Branbury Beach State Park.
It is small but charming. We have furnished it simply but fully with refrigerator and electric stove/oven, coffeemaker and grinder, microwave, toaster oven, towels, bedding, dishes and utensils.

Outside there are 2 picnic tables, lawn chairs, a rope hammock, a cast-iron campfire pit, a screened dining pavilion and a Weber charcoal grill.

There are plenty of books, puzzles and games, wifi internet, an ipod dock and compact CD/tape player/radio.

Because the cottage is small, there is a stall shower but no bathtub, dishwasher, or washer/dryer. There is a pleasant, clean laundromat at 9 Grove St. in Brandon, approx. 8 miles away.

There is a kayak, a rowboat and a canoe and life vests for all adults and children. Please use everything sensibly. Boats of all kinds are available for rent at Waterhouses, a small Marina across the lake.

No smoking is permitted in the cottage.

One or two dogs are allowed. Please no cats since the owner is allergic. In this friendly neighborhood of humans of various ages, cats, other dogs and assorted wildlife, visiting dogs must be on best behavior.

May, June and September $800/week + $72 VT rooms tax.
July and August $900/week + $81 VT rooms tax.
