Built in 2003, this hand-crafted cottage boasts the look and feel of pure Vermont. Using only the finest, mostly indigenous, material - slate bathrooms, custom cabinetry, soapstone and copper countertops, maple carved stairs - are but a few of its unique features.
The kitchen contains a professional gas stove, walk-in pantry and dishwasher; a chef's dream kitchen.
The bunk room contains two unique sets of bunk beds (total of 4) built into adjacent walls with plenty of drawers below and two closets for storage.
The kitchen shares an open space with the living quarters, allowing for all to mingle where it most counts. A wall of windows and double door display magnificent views of the lake overlooking Point Bay Marina in its own protected, wake-free zone. Perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing or just plain serenity.
The upstairs is truly a master suite, complete with its own balcony, a bathroom containing two sinks, a custom galvanized tub, and a walk-in, double-headed shower with its own steam sauna unit.
There is a bluestone terrace and wooden deck- both leading to the dock - allowing for great lake access and boat tie-ups. After, you can even rinse off using the outdoor shower which, yes, has hot and cold running water.
Short drive to Shelburne Museum and Farms and only fifteen minutes to Burlington.
Other essentials include a washer and dryer and trash pick-up service.
