Original farmhouse built in 1850, Birch was expanded into a spacious country charmer. Gigantic screened porch looks across lawn to water's edge. Seven rooms - 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, dining room, living room with convertible sofa bed, kitchen. Sleeps 8 - 10.

Birch cottage is one of six Victorian summer cottages on the tranquil 32-acre private island, accessible in five minutes by a private launch available only to Garden Island guests.

Homes furnished, equipped with electric kitchens, & bathrooms with showers. Only guests allowed on island, beach, floats. Swimming areas are uncrowded and restful, even on the most beautiful summer days.

Use of guest boats (e.g. rowboats, paddleboat, canoe, kayak, sunfish sailboat). All homes equipped with standard cookware, utensils, blankets, microwaves and clock radios. Bring linens & towels. There is free tennis on mainland, golf nearby and many historic sites.

Dogs are welcome, as long as they are friendly!

$2,990/week, $5,680 for two weeks; $2,540 for additional week.

Special rates:
Pre-Season 6/16/18 - 6/30/18 $2,540
Labor Day 9-day (week + weekend) 8/25-9/3/2018; $2,990.

Plus 9% VT Rooms Tax on rentals of 30 consecutive days or less.

Pet Policy: $50 per pet cleaning fee (not to exceed 2 total, dog or cat).

Full payment by check is due within 10 days of booking. Non-refundable with less than 30 days' notice in case of cancellation.

The only thing in short supply at Garden Island is the accommodations. Make sure you get to enjoy your memorable Vermont vacation.

All rentals are Saturday 3 P.M. to Saturday 11:00 A.M.

Private launch service to/from island, available 24 hours a day with normal service free from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM daily.
