All Season Lakeshore cottage, located in the Champlain Islands of Vermont. This modest cottage offers beach access directly on the property. Ideal for outdoor and watersport activities; including hiking, biking, sightseeing, kayaking, SUP, boating, etc. Located within a short driving distance from great hiking trails such as Mount Mansfield, Camels Hump, etc. Boat rentals are available at various local marinas. During the winter months, many local ski/snowboard resorts are also within a short driving distance (Smugglers Notch, Bolton Valley, Jay Peak, Stowe).
Many excellent local restaurants and cafes are in vicinity. Of note are; Hero's Welcome General Store (deli, cafe, baked goods, marina, sports equipment rental{bikes, kayaks}), North Hero House Restaurant and bar, Shore Acres restaurant, Pans Pizza and Blue Paddle Bistro in South Hero, A and B Beverage Grocery Store in Grand Isle, etc.
Located within walking distance from the Pelots Point Natural Area (light hiking trails, nature conservation area), and the North Hero Marina (marina, restaurant, bar). A short drive to Burlington, VT (restaurants, bars, breweries, shopping, etc.). Approximately 1.25 hours from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The cottage is equipped with WIFI, antenna television, dvd player, kitchenette, large lakeside deck, BBQ, and mooring 100 ft. from shore. The cottage is fully furnished for cooking, etc. We have listed the address for the main property, however the address of the cottage on the property is: 241 Cedarvale Ln, North Hero, VT 05474. For GPS navigation, we advise using the 1811 Pelots Point Road, North Hero, VT address.
The Cottage is a housekeeping cottage, we ask that our guests please leave it in the same state of cleanliness in which they found it, and to please provide their own bed linens (Queen Size) and towels. We also ask that our guests please arrive after 4:00 pm, and check-out around noon. We do not currently allow pets at the cottage, thank you kindly for your understanding. At this time we are requesting a $40 damage deposit from our guests, which will be refunded post-stay. The cottage is generally for double occupancy. We offer weekly as well as daily rentals.
