The property is located on West Shore Road in Grand Isle on the "Broad Lake" looking across Lake Champlain to the Adirondacks. The cottage sits 100 yards off a quiet road shaded by old cedar trees. It is a beautiful piece of lakefront with a private beach. Great for swimming, fishing, or lounging in the sun down by the water. Bring a kayak or a boat (free boat launch ramp 400 feet down the road). Great area for biking.

The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, one with a double bed. There is also a double futon in the living room that could sleep one more. Nice, comfortable living room and kitchen, bath with stall shower, and a lovely lakeside screened-in porch. There is a gas grill, Adirondack chairs, town water (not a well or the lake). Bath towels and bed linens supplied. Please bring linens for futon if planning on using. Gas fireplace. Free wireless internet.

There is also an outside table with umbrella and four chairs.

Grand Isle is accessible by causeway/bridges or ferry:
5 minutes to Plattsburgh NY/VT ferry
5 minutes to an excellent small grocery store
35 minutes to Burlington and the airport (via causeway)
1 hour 30 minutes to Montreal
1 hour to mountains

Base rate: Sunday - Thursday $145/night Friday,Saturday $160/night 2 night minimum stay
I book July and August for full weeks only. turnover day is Saturday.
