The house has two bedrooms which sleep 4, and there is a convertible couch in the living room for more.

The house has a full kitchen, 2nd floor deck, VCR/DVD, Direct TV, wireless internet service, outside grill. Barn, work shed, screened leanto with cots for camping, fields & forests, 4 streams, swimming pond with float next to house, biking/hiking paths.

Located on a quiet country road, basically a dead end. In Washington Vermont, north of charming village of Chelsea. 24 miles to Montpelier; 30 miles to Hanover; 38 miles to Woodstock. No smoking.

We couldn't stop taking pictures because it's even better than what we imagined of Vermont. We were surrounded by nature -- the picturesque Green Mountains during the day and the endless starry night sky in the evening. We enjoyed a home cooked meal certain days and all the different restaurants in the nearby towns during others. We found ourselves watching the cows and then the horses for an hour, hiking to the top of the hill where we took more photos, walking around the property and taking our time... We highly recommend Sky Acres as a getaway. The house is peaceful, clean, and beautiful, and the location is private. I also loved that we had the luxury of using cable and the Internet when we needed it."
