It has 6 bedrooms and sleeps 11 and has bathrooms on the first floor (half) and second floor (full). It has a new eat-in country kitchen with a wood stove (so cozy in the fall), a dining room which seats 11, a living room with a stone fireplace, and a big front porch. It is surrounded by lawn and 6 acres of woods. Beautiful clean Lake Dunmore, with panoramic views of the fall colors in the Green Mountain National Forest, is only a 30-second walk away. Great boating and fishing (bass, Lake salmon and rainbow trout). Two canoes, and a rowboat are available. Ideal for groups of friends or family- rent weekly or for long relaxed weekends. DVD player and wood for the stove provided.
The nearby picturesque towns of Middlebury and Brandon offer good restaurants, bakeries, galleries, antiquing and shopping. A golf course is nearby. Vermont is the center of the artisanal food movement: farmers markets with local produce, cheese trails, orchards, berry picking, and microbreweries are all close by.
The Lodge is ideal for short day trips to Lake Champlain, Stowe, the Robert Frost Trail, Woodstock, Burlington, and the Shelburne Museum.

RATES: OCTOBER: $1000/week plus 9% Vt. rooms tax
SEPTEMBER: $1200/week plus 9% Vt. rooms tax in Sept.
OR $250-$300 a night (depending on the number of nights), 2-night minimum.
