In Westmore, Vermont our lakefront cottages have 2 bedrooms and sleep 5. Full kitchen, fireplace, range with oven, heat, deck facing lake. Tennis, racquetball courts; swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and fishing for trout and salmon. A take-a-book, leave-a-book library is on premises.
Miles of bicycling trails, mountain hiking trails, golf courses, restaurants, country stores, antique shops, gift and craft shops are all nearby.
Easy day trips to Stowe (1 hour), Burlington (2 hours), Montreal (2 ½ hours), Quebec City (3 ½ hours). Scenic, back country roads abound in the Northeast Kingdom, and we are rural, but right in the center of it all.
Enjoy spectacular evening sunsets beyond the Green Mountain Range right from your deck. Wildflowers and many types of wild berries abound.
Lake Willoughby is a 1700-acre, spring-fed glacier lake. The Vermont record lake trout (36 lb., 2 oz.) was caught here in July 2003. Native speckled, brown and rainbow trout populate the lake, along with land-locked salmon.

Rates in the spring and fall seasons are as follows:
Friday - Sunday weekend, $395; Long weekend (3 nights, 4 days), $475; Midweek, $150 per night (2-night minimum); Full week, $995.
Whenever possible, and it almost always is except in the summer, we have flexible check-in and check-out. This means "come early, stay late."
From June 28th to August 28th we rent only weekly from Saturday to Saturday (except for Labor Day weekend when we offer a holiday weekend special). The weekly summer rate is $1,195. We also have a limited number of "short week" rentals from August 23rd to August 28th (Saturday to Thursday) for $795.
