Need an escape from the rat race? Our quaint, well-maintained lakefront cottage is just what you are you looking for! We have spectacular sweeping views of pristine Lake Memphremagog and the mountains of northern Vermont, and direct access to lake from our private dock at a most reasonable cost. This five-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath cottage in Newport, VT sleeps twelve comfortably (queen, full, and 6 twin beds, plus trundle daybed on sun porch). Amenities: fire pit, gas grill, cable TV, DVD/VCR (no phone bring your cell). Watch/listen as the slow-moving freight train passes 60' below our yard on weekdays. Bring your own sheets and towels. Leashed pets are welcome.
Outdoor recreational activities nearby: trophy fishing, swimming, hiking, golf, sailing, boating bring your own kayak, canoe, or boat, or rent at nearby Newport Marina. Thirty minutes by car to French-Canadian resort town of Magog at north end of Lake Memphremagog.
