Watch for loons, beaver, and moose as you explore two adjoining ponds, 70-acre Upper and Lower Symes, bordered by 500 acres of forest with miles of hiking trails, all owned by your hosts, the Blaisdells.

There are only four cottages on Symes Pond, private and secluded from each other by at least 500 feet of forest. Each is located directly on the pond with spectacular views from their front porches. These knotty pine cottages each feature a cathedral ceiling, glass front woodstove or fire pit, satellite TV, VCR,free wi fi for emails available at central location at specified hours, full kitchen, gas heat,private sandy beach that has a gradual slope; perfect for the young ones.
Each cottage has a wood fired outdoor hot tub constructed of Eastern White Cedar available for rent. Fire up your private tub and soak in the natural beauty of Symes Pond.

A free canoe or row boat is provided to each cottage. A paddle boat is shared. Kayaks are available for rent. Linens are provided. A bundle of firewood is provided at no charge.More firewood is available for a small fee.

DESCRIPTION: Moose Landing has 3 bedrooms plus sleeping loft,Loon Lodge and Eagles Nest each have 2 bedrooms plus sleeping loft. Each sleeps eight.
Our smaller log cabin at Boulder Bluff has one bedroom with full sized bed,loft area with two twin beds accessible by ladder, and a futon in the living room that converts to a full size bed. Sleeps total of six.
OTHER FEES: 9% Vermont Rooms Tax; $50/pet; Kayaks available for $50/week each.Wood-fired hot tub rental available for $50/week.First bundle of firewood is free. More firewood available for sale on site or you can collect deadwood from along the road for free.
