New Pine Cottages on 70 Acre Wilderness Ponds – Symes Pond
Wilderness setting in East Ryegate. Horseback riding available. Watch for loons, beaver, and moose as you explore two adjoining ponds, 70-acre Upper and Lower Symes, bordered by 500 acres of forest with miles of hiking trails, all owned by your hosts, the Blaisdells. There are only three cottages on Symes Pond, private and secluded from each other by forest. These new knotty pine cottages each feature a cathedral ceiling, glass front woodstove, satellite TV, VCR, full kitchen, gas heat, 2 to 3 bedrooms plus loft sleeps eight, full porch facing superb views of the pond, and private beach for each. Canoe, rowboat, paddle boat, linens, firewood provided. Only ten minutes off I-91 near St. Johnsbury.

2009 Rates:
May 1-June 15: $750-$950/week; $375/weekend; $2000/month
June 16-August 31: $900-$1300/week
September 1-November 30: $750-$950/week; $375/weekend; $2000/month
Plus VT rooms tax. Saturday to Saturday.
