Come unwind at this charming lakeside cottage with wraparound deck and brand new dock with ample seating. The views are panoramic and breathtaking. Eagles, herons, and loons are regular visitors. A one person canoe and 2 kayaks are available for your use as well as dock space to store your water toys. Some of the best fishing on the lake is right off the dock. The cottage consists of 2 adjoining units that become 1 large unit by opening a door. There are 2 small kitchens, 2 full bathrooms, 3 bedrooms (1 with a king size bed, 1 with a queen bed, and 1 with 2 twin beds, plus there is a twin air mattress.) There is a brand new Weber gas grill, picnic table, portable fire pit, board games, corn toss, an awesome vintage sound system, Bose radio, washer and dryer, and a television with dvds. The 100 square foot dock house is newly renovated, adorable, and can be considered an additional bedroom. It has electricity, a full size futon bed, mini-fridge, a mini bathroom with chemical toilet and wash station, and dead-on lake views. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves! This area abounds with activities from a day trip to Magog Quebec to world class breweries and excellent hiking and biking. Come reconnect with nature and each other.
The cottage has WiFi, a window air conditioner and a portable air conditioner, a propane heat stove, and baseboard electric heat. Linens and firewood are provided. Because we are so near the Canadian border, it’s important to turn off roaming unless Canada is part of your cell phone plan. This is an older home with some vintage (we find charming) qualities. 1 leashed and well-behaved dog is welcome with prior notice.
Please note this is a quiet family neighborhood with nearby neighbors so please no parties or loud events.
The rental is available summer through early October with a 2 night minimum stay. Sunday through Thursday nights are $245 per night plus 9% rooms tax and Friday and Saturday nights are $295 plus 9% rooms tax. 10% weekly discount. $200 refundable damage/cancellation deposit required. Check in 3:00 p.m. and check-out 11:00 a.m.
