Lake Champlain Rentals
Tree Tops Resort in South Hero. Up to 4 Cottages Available.
The Tree Tops Resort is located on the Southern end of South Hero on a private 7+ acre property with over 920 feet of direct frontage on Lake Champlain. Until recently, it was a family compound and select location for close friends.
There are four privately sited cottages located at Tree Tops. Each unique cottage is restored in the rustic Vermont Camp style, and offers great lake views. Depending on the cottage, they will sleep between 4 and 6 people. Each cottage has a complete kitchen with 20" gas range, microwave, coffee maker etc. We also have a common laundry area for all guests to use. It may be possible to rent 2, 3 or 4 cottages at the same time for a family reunion. We will gladly email you additional photos and more information.
The gradual shale beach is rare (for Lake Champlain), due to the fact that it is South facing, which affords all day sunshine and protection from cool Northerly breezes. The "Outer Malletts Bay" location offers warmer and calmer water than the "Broad Lake". There is a great dock & float, and our guests have the use of several small boats. Choose the shade or sun with lake-side lounging in plenty of hammocks, chaises, and chairs.
Enjoy your meals by the lake with barbeque grills, or dine alone at your own lakefront cottage.

Thanks for a great 2009. We will start to take reservations for 2010 in late January. Our season generally runs from early June - Mid October.
The cottages rent Saturday - Saturday.
2009 rates are shown below and will be similar in 2010:
$895 - $925 in "high season" June 26 - September 4.
$725 from early June through June 26, and September 4 - early October.
We will consider a 3-day minimum as space allows.
9% Vermont rooms tax will be added to the above rates.

Bed sheets and towels are not included in the rent, but we can supply them at additional charge.
