Mountains meet the lake in this magical house on Lake Champlain. A unique, artistic cottage with a dramatic setting. It offers light and sun from the many windows and doors that open onto a large, high deck. It is as if the house were floating. Most suitable for one couple. The house has a an office room where you can work and each room has lovely details. You can swim from the dock on the property and a short walk leads to a beach with wonderful swimming. It is shallow for the first 20 feet and has a sand beach that looks to the Adirondack Mountains. There is a washer/dryer, dishwasher, & radiant heat for early or late visitors. No pets. No smoking. This is all one house -- smaller front living room/kitchen -- higher area bedrooms.
It is 15 minutes to Burlington with all the restaurants and culture offered in a college town with myriad things to do. The property is very near to "the Islands" with parks for surfing, and all types of boating. The entire area is within easy access to the New York side of the lake with many places for antique lovers to discover on both sides of Lake Champlain; although, it is very inviting to stay and relax.
