Cute efficiency, 1-bath lakefront cottage on beautiful Lake Champlain in Bridport VT (located about half way between Burlington and Rutland directly on the lake). Large deck sits 16’ above the lake to provide spectacular views of the lake and Adirondack mountains. Small, but quaint. Private, on dead-end road, no thru traffic. Rental includes rowboat, and 2 bikes.

Full kitchen, WiFi, bath with shower, queen bed, and extra futon. Outside propane grill, screened-in porch attached to camp, and additional large deck down the wooden walkway, which overlooks the lake including outdoor seating. There is also a campfire ring by the camp for toasting your marshmallows (wood can be purchased locally by the bundle).

Boating and Bass and Perch Fishing is terrific. There is swimming out away from the beach (we get in off the rowboat), there are weeds on the shoreline, so it is not great swimming for children. Best for 2 adults who want a quiet getaway with beautiful views, boating, and fishing.

Local activities include biking, hiking, fishing, boating, sailing, antiquing, golfing or visiting many historic places in VT , Adirondacks of New York and some of the best breweries near by.
