A Cut Above The Rest, 2 BR, 2 BA Cottage
It's a roomy, bright, 2-bedroom, 2-bath cottage with a warm wood interior. The building is "Y" shaped with the great room in the center and a bedroom/bath combo on each side. It sits 30' from the water's edge (at normal high water) up 1/2 a flight of steps. There is a 150-foot private beach with shale-type sand and shale outcroppings. The water is weed free and the bottom slopes gently. There is a dock for fishing, swimming, and loading boats (it is not a safe mooring as it's built on wheels to move with the water as it goes down during the year). Small boats can be pulled up on the beach and there is a state boat launch 1/4 mile down the road. The cottage is on a large 3/4 acre lot with tree lines on both sides for privacy. Because it faces west, the sunsets cascade across the water in front of you every evening.
The kitchen is fully equipped with glasses, silverware, pots, pans, microwave - even wine glasses. Outside you'll find a gas grill, 2 picnic tables, and lawn furniture. The cottage is comfortably heated with gas. There are two queens and one twin bed. I provide the pillows and light blankets. YOU provide linens and towels. Maximum of four people. No pets, please.
The cottage is located 30 minutes north of Burlington VT, in the town of Milton (10 miles from the village). To see its location, look on your Vermont state map where the Chittenden and the Franklin County lines intersect Lake Champlain: the cottage is right at that spot.

Peak season: June - Sept.: $1200/week (weekly only).
Off-season: $900/week or $500/weekends (Fri. night to Mon. morning).
Prices are subject to 9% VT rooms tax.
