Applegarth is the perfect romantic hideaway for a couple, or a cozy cottage for a single. Reminiscent of a Victorian carriage house, it sits in back of a fenced orchard, surrounded by miniature gardens. Features include an air-jet tub for two with overhead rainfall shower, galley kitchen with gas range, window-seat dining nook, a beautiful lawn with gazebo through an atrium door. The main room is a bed-sitter with antique queen-size spindle bed, comfy wing chairs, see-through gas fireplace between seating area and kitchen, a window seat for lots of light, air conditioning in summer. Guests will have use of a private shale beach and lovely screen house just steps away from their door, or may walk to the nearby state park with sand beach. Also, use of the dock, off-shore swim platform and mooring. Sorry, no smoking or pets.

In-season (Memorial Day - Oct 31): $800 per week (Saturday to Saturday).
From Labor Day to October 31, we can be more flexible, though there is a 2-night minimum stay. Off-season: $100 per day.
Plus VT 9% rooms tax.
