On quiet cove at end of a one-mile lake, with lawn going to the waterfront. (The dock pictured above has been removed.) Peaceful, not a party house. Perfect writers' or lovers' retreat. Fish from the lawn or use the kayak. Fire pit at waters edge. Birding, walking and biking trails are all nearby.

Furnished, with all linens, dishes, and food staples. One king-sized bed, a wrought-iron double bed and a futon in the library comfortably accommodates two couples. Dogs are okay with prior authorization / extra deposit.

9% VT Rooms and meals tax applies to short term rentals. Note there are many steps, both inside the house and outside. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday; check in anytime after 2pm check out before 10am.

$900/week. Can be flexible with extra nights if cottage not rented the days following booked week. In off-season, partial weeks are ok. First night rent $150, each following night $120 per night.
