This all-seasons lakeside house is an ideal family getaway for a relaxing vacation, once-in-a-lifetime reunion, or group event. Located at the north end of Lake Champlain's Grand Isle it is 30 minutes from Burlington or 2 hours from Montreal.

The house is nestled in trees on a gently sloping grassy hillside with expansive views of Lake Champlain. It is on three acres at the end of a private road with 400 feet of pebbly shale beach. The modern 5-bedroom, 4½ bath house (plus bunkroom) has plenty of room. Rebuilt in 2002, it is spacious, luxurious, and very comfortable.

Maximum occupancy is 8 people, or up to 10 if including preteen children. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed, subject to an additional pet fee.

Summer: 2 decks overlook the water, hammock, beach, dock, swim raft, kayaks & canoe, water toys, grill, bicycles, & more.

Winter: Sledding, snowshoeing, & X/C skiing right out the door. Wood stove, gas fireplace, and heated floors keep the house toasty. A bit over 1 hour to northern VT ski resorts.

Details: Cook's kitchen with 3 ovens, 3 sinks, 3 dishwashers, 2 fridges, and all the tools. Large dining room. Multiple sitting areas with good light. Bedrooms spread over 3 floors give privacy. High-speed WIFI. Washer & dryer. Ceiling fans throughout, but no AC.

Handicapped Access: 1st floor BR is designed for the elderly & those with limited mobility. There are 2 steps up to enter the house, so it's not wheelchair accessible, but the main floor is otherwise well set up for the limited mobility.

Available year round.

2020 & 2021 Weekly Rates: (Saturday to Saturday, typically)
June 15 through September 12: $3,500 per week
September 13 through October 17: $2,900 per week
Rest of the year: $2,400 per week

Minimum rental period of 1 week. Discount available for rentals longer than 2 weeks. All rates are plus 9% VT room tax and $300 cleaning fee. Rates are subject to change.

Signed rental agreement is required to confirm reservation, including rental and security deposits.
