Warmth and charm welcome you in this 200-year-old farmhouse in Goshen (central) Vermont on 114 acres overlooking rolling meadows in the Green Mountain National Forest, just 10 minutes to Lake Dunmore. Not fancy, very relaxing: four bedrooms, one queen on the first floor. The first floor also has a dining room, large living room with stone fireplace, full new bathroom with shower, pantry, sun porch and a fully equipped large and sunny kitchen. Upstairs, there is a claw foot tubbed bathroom as well as three bedrooms: a large queen, twins and a large double all with linens and quilts. Cable TV, a full game closet, sleds and skating ponds nearby. Recent modest renovations in most rooms.

At any season, this is a wonderful family vacation location. A large gracious lawn leading to meadows and forest with a sun porch to view it all from. Game closet, cable TV, sleds, hiking trails all on site! For skiers, we are 20 min. to Middlebury Snow Bowl, a small family mountain with varied terrain, and a 1/2 hour drive takes you to Pico and Killington, and about 40 minutes will get you to Mad River and Sugarbush. Hiking and snowshoeing right out the door on logging trails throughout the property. In summer, enjoy lakes, streams and waterfalls, riding, fishing, or golf- you are surrounded with it all.

Rates vary somewhat by group size:
The basic rate is $1400/week. Plus 9% VT rooms tax.
Per night available at $300 up. One night only at 2 night rate.
Rent by the weekend, week or month. Holiday weeks are $1700 - $2000.
