The Fountain consists of The 1820 House and The Carriage House. This property has 7BR, and optional 2BR au pair suite, and can sleep 14 - 17. Located one mile from the picturesque and historic Stowe village, the property can be rented in its entirety or separately. At the north end of the lawn the actual fountain, a historic landmark in Stowe, is a mountain fed spring. It freezes each winter and has been seen standing as a 25' tall natural ice sculpture. In summer, it is surrounded by massive shade trees, rolling lawns, flower gardens, and pool.

The 1820 House, a colonial farmhouse, has 4BR and sleeps 8. An attached au pair suite is available if desired and sleeps 3 more. The house boasts beautiful grounds with spectacular panoramic views of Mt. Mansfield, a wrap-around porch, hot tub, spacious bedrooms each with private bathroom, country style dining room, a living room adorned with antiques, fireplaces and wood stoves.

The Carriage House has 3BR and sleeps 6. Two bedrooms feature king-sized beds and private bathrooms. The third has twin beds. The great room has unique character with its huge open space conducive to gathering around the central fireplace. A full kitchen opens up to a dining area, just steps away from the outdoor hot tub and beautiful views of the mountains.
