Lovely Hidden Vermont Farmhouse Close to Jay Peak Resort
Brookside farmhouse invites its visitors to enjoy a step back in time with its original warm wooden plank flooring, antique furniture, a true Vermont farmhouse and yet it still has all modern amenities including high speed internet access, cable TV, phone service, DVD players and a full-size pool table for the enjoyment of its guests. In winter, step outside the door to enjoy x-country skiing and snowshoeing on almost 200 acres or drive 5 minutes to Jay Peak Resort for superb downhill skiing and snowboarding.
With 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Brookside sleeps a maximum of 14 persons. Upstairs you have a very large master bedroom with queen size bed and sitting area. There are two rooms with double beds in each and a smaller room with 2 twin beds. Downstairs is another bedroom with a full size bed and a pair of wooden bunk beds plus an adjacent full bathroom. There is a sofa bed in the living room.
For summer, it makes a wonderful destination for a family reunion. Kids can enjoy the freedom of playing outside in the woods and meadow, fish in the brook located on the property, go for long hikes and mountain bike rides, swim in the cool swimming holes that abound in the area.
