Facing west, directly on crystal clear Lake Eden. Midway between Stowe, and Jay Peak. Smugglers Notch only 45 minutes away. Hiking, biking, golfing, fine and casual dining nearby.
3 BRs: King; King and Twin; Queen and Crib. Main bath with whirlpool tub. Second bath upstairs with shower. Open living/dining/family rooms, with wood stove in living room. Very comfortable accommodation in a 2500 sq. ft. home for 7 guests. Patio doors off of dining room lead to brick floored patio with gas BBQ and umbrella table with chairs. Garden swing and lounge chairs are here as well. Patio doors off family room to covered deck with hot tub which faces West. There are magnificent sun sets on most evenings.
Stairs lead to on-the-water deck with 20 foot dock. There is a canoe and pedal boat for fishing and pleasure. Guests have caught bass weighing up to 4.5 lbs! Private mixed sand & pebble beach for swimming. The water slopes to a depth of 8 feet at the end of the dock.
The Long Trail for unsurpassed hiking is but 15 minutes away. There are many attractions in the area, including: Ben and Jerry's ice cream and Cabot cheese factories as well a pastoral countryside for unsurpassed touring and countless areas for antique shopping. Supermarkets and hospital just 20 mins away.
