Cozy garden cottage in lovely rural setting, off quiet gravel road, surrounded by farms and forest in Greensboro, near Caspian Lake. Close to lakes, hiking trails, cross-country and downhill ski areas, places to bicycle. Set on 10 acres with lovely open gardens and large lawn and beautiful established perennial beds. Private meadow behind garden for star-gazing.
A 30 minute drive will take you to most down-hill ski resorts and the cross-country trails are 1/2 mile up the road. Caspian Lake is only 2 1/2 miles down the road, and other lakes are just a 30 minute drive away. We have a wonderful restaurant, the Highland Lodge, just a 10 minute drive. There are other restaurants in Hardwick, a 20 minute drive. Newport, Stowe, St. Johnsbury, Barton, all about 30-40 minute drive, also have great restaurants.
Two bedrooms, one with queen bed, one with full bed; one bath. Gas-log fireplace in living room. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker. Washer and dryer. All linens provided. Everything on ground-level to make it handicap accessible. One-car garage. Private patio with gas grill and lawn furniture. No smoking, pets accepted upon owner approval.

Summer special $600 per week, plus VT rooms tax of 9%. Available year-round. Weekends available off-peak.
One-half of rental fee required upon booking, and the remainder 2 weeks before arrival. You will receive 1/2 of your deposit back if you cancel 30 days before. $100 security deposit is also required at time of booking. After house inspection, this will be returned to you. 9% rooms and meals tax is extra and due with your final payment.
Rental time is from Sat. to Sat. - check in at 2 p.m. and out at 11 a.m. Some flexibility may be allowed upon approval.
