THE NEST is a charming one-bedroom, one-story apartment vacation rental, attached to the back of an interior designer's studio, located in a yellow Vermont farmhouse on Route 30 in Dorset. It is decorated for style and comfort. Conveniently situated near the town of Manchester and close to the ski areas of Bromley and Stratton Mountain.

Sleeps 2 in the bedroom and 1 on pull-out sofa in the living room. The living room has a full-size pull-out sofa and an eat-in dining area. The country kitchen is stocked with a refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave, toaster and vintage tableware. The toile-wallpapered bathroom has a shower, Turkish towels and an antique dresser for storage. The bedroom is comfortably appointed with a blue shutter headboard and custom bedding on the full-size bed, toile chair, vanity/makeup area, closet and luggage racks. The apartment is equipped with TV, WiFi, and air conditioner. No pets, no smoking.

Activities in the nearby area included: swimming in the Dorset Quarry, hiking, Dorset Theater, Emerald Lake, Southern Vermont Art Center, 3 1/2 miles to Manchester.

$99 per night for 2 people, plus tax in October.
Additional person $10/night.
2-night minimum.
