Charming 1-bedroom, 1-bath Outer Malletts Bay cottage nestled in the woods surrounded by oak, ash and locust trees. The cottage sleeps 1-2. Small cottage with cozy living room, screened-in porch with lake views, deck overlooking beach, picnic table, TV/DVD player, Comcast cable with high-speed internet. 2 beds: queen in bedroom, 3/4 bed on screened-in porch. Towels and sheets provided. Gas grill. Situated on a cliff so not ideal for children.

Beach is rocky shoreline. Spectacular easterly views of Mt. Mansfield and the sunrise. Wake to the sounds of birds and water lapping against shoreline. Very quiet area. Pets are not permitted, due to screens and wood floors. Hammock. Great place for total relaxation. Perfect place for a writer, quiet get-away, 2 people maximum.

Biking is outstanding, bike out the back door to bikeways to Burlington or head north across the Causeway to the Islands. Approximately 3 miles from Burlington, Vermont. Two hybrid bikes are available for use, as is a small river kayak.

Provided: Microwave, electric stove, pots, pans, coffee pot, everything is of great quality. Blankets, down comforters, pillows, mattresses are pillow top, dining table is facing water on screened-in porch/or picnic table off of deck. Deck furniture, and lawn chairs.

Rent amount $150. night, with a one week minimum.
