Enjoy early morning coffee or evening cocktails on the private hillside deck overlooking the lake. Take the rowboat for a ride on the calm waters, or fish for bass or perch off the dock or boat. Swim off the dock or just row out and jump in. Roast marshmallows at the fire pit on the shale beach below a large retaining wall with additional lakeside perch with canopied glider.

The one-floor cottage is newly updated, painted inside and out, with new rugs and furniture and features a large living room with pull-out couch, 2 small bedrooms (1 with bunk beds, the other with a queen bed). Full, small kitchen, 1 bathroom; attached screened porch lakeside plus propane grill with picnic table just off the porch. TV and air-conditioning.

Reached by a quiet, private country road, just 14 miles west or Middlebury, with wonderful biking past endless cornfields.

No smoking inside please. Well-behaved dogs welcome. Bed linens and towels included.

Weekly rentals begin Saturday at 3 P.M. to Saturday at 11 A.M.

Summer season, June 1 to Sept. 6: : $850/week (includes Vermont Rooms tax)
Off season: Sept. 15 to Oct. 20 : $700/week

50% down when booking with signed rental agreement, remaining 50% due on arrival. $250 security deposit.
