Built in 1915 by our grandparents, this beautiful summer home is right on the lake in South Hero and looks out at New York's Adirondack Mountains. The house is on 4 acres of very private land with large lawns and gardens, and an incredible shoreline. The downstairs has a large living room with fireplace connected to a large screened-in porch, kitchen and formal dining room. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms which will sleep 9 people with a balcony overlooking the living room. (Also, 1BR cottage & 2BR cottage (for 2 & 3) available with 4BR house: extra fee.) Tennis courts on property and all the swimming, boating, biking, hiking and wildlife you can imagine.
