Bide-A-Wee is a delightful cedar-log cottage on Lake Champlain near South Alburgh. The cottage is decorated in cheerful Provence colors and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. It sleeps up to 6 in a king bedroom, single bedroom with a twin-and-trundle bed, and a semi-attached guest room with a double bed. You'll find Culligan-system well water, a full galley kitchen and a full bath with tub/shower. Furnished, cooking equipment, dishes. No linens, no towels. Sorry -- no smoking or pets.

Bide-a-Wee is on a large, private, waterfront lot, partially wooded and landscaped with an outdoor fireplace, play lawns, crushed-stone pathways -- and offering comfy lounge chairs and a big hammock. Enjoy the 100-foot private shale beach, deep water mooring, dock and offshore swim platform. Halfway down the stairway from the backyard to the beach is a deck providing stunning easterly views.

A popular state park with a gorgeous sandy beach is within walking distance, and there are plenty of opportunities for fishing, golfing, antiquing and enjoying the good restaurants nearby. It's only about 50 minutes to Montreal, even less to Burlington.

Two weeks or longer rentals from Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend (Friday to Friday). Inquire about rentals after Labor Day.

Two-week minimum.
$950/week for 3-5 people. $25/wk cleaning fee. Monthly rate: $3400, plus $75 cleaning fee. Plus 9% rooms tax on rentals of 30 days or less.
$825/week for 2 adults (may include 1 child under 12). $25/wk cleaning fee. Monthly rate $3100, plus $75 cleaning fee.
Plus 9% rooms tax on rentals of 30 days or less.

3 months $9200, plus $200 cleaning fee.

The refundable security/reservation deposit is $300 or $400, depending on size of party.
Check-in time is 3 p.m., check-out time is 10 a.m.
