Quiet and peaceful with lovely sunset views, removed from the road. Ideal for 2–4 adults (steep stairs and a lakeside cliff make it inappropriate for children). This charming, rustic cottage was built in 1909. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs, with a full kitchen (microwave, toaster, oven, refrigerator, etc), ¾ bath, living room, dining room, and screened porch downstairs. Each bedroom has one double bed. Bring your own linens and towels. No smoking in the cottage. Sorry, no pets. Not suitable for entertaining. Parking limited to 1 car at all times.

Outside sitting areas where you can enjoy sun or shade. Gradual water depth, dock available for sunning yourself or fishing from, but not suitable for overnight boat tie up. Small rowboat is available for use. Mooring is available.

30 minutes to Burlington or St. Albans, and 90 minutes to Montreal.

Weekly rentals, Saturday to Saturday. Available July 2 to September 17, 2011:
$700/week plus 9% Vermont Rooms Tax. Check-in after 3 PM, check-out by 11 AM.
