The Turner Farmhouse offers lakeside accommodations for ten or more people on a private preserve. Whether you're seeking a secluded nook for a family vacation of fishing, hiking, and reading, or a 200-acre wilderness for a team-building corporate retreat, the Turner Farmhouse can meet your needs.
We are nestled among the cedars on the island of Isle La Motte. The house itself is located directly on the lake with access to boating, fishing, and swimming.
This historic home has a full kitchen, two enclosed porches, several sitting rooms, four bathrooms, and five bedrooms. The home sleeps more than ten people and can accommodate many more for daily activities and gatherings. Provisions for babies and young children are available.
Our island village has a country store, apple orchard, post office, library, art gallery, tea garden, fossil preserve, and pizzeria (summer only). The local Recreation Department and Community Organization offer ongoing public events (movie nights, festivals, BBQs, boat parades) during the spring, summer and fall. There is always an activity to choose from!
Located on a private and gated road, we offer the utmost in seclusion and privacy; a one-hour drive in any direction will bring you to the cities of Montreal, Burlington, St. Albans, and Plattsburgh.
