Country Farmhouse in East Topsham, Vermont
Country farmhouse is located near the village of East Corinth. Highland cattle are raised on the farm and farm activities take place in mornings and evenings. The fields surrounding the farmhouse are hayed in the summer. There is a small pond on the farm a short walk away. There is no through traffic on the road. The area is about forty miles from St. Johnsbury; about thirty miles from Montpelier, and the Norwich/Hanover NH area.
The house includes a fully equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), TV, VCR, all linens and bedding provided, washer/dryer. Four bedrooms and one bathroom with shower are located on the second floor. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with shower, one with tub) located on the first floor. Working wood stove in kitchen, no fireplaces. The road to house is plowed.
Monthly rental or longer.
$2,250 per month April - October, December.
$1,800 per month November, January - March.
Rent includes all expenses except long distance phone service and internet connection. Connection to the internet can be arranged with Topsham Telephone Co. Cell phone service is limited but sometimes available at top of hill.
